Warn- und Vorsichtshinweise
Die folgenden Warnungen gelten für
monopolare Instrumente:
e l. SAUGEN Sie Flüssigkeit aus dem Bereich ab, bevor Sie
das Instrument aktivieren. Leitfähige Flüssigkeiten (z. B.
Blut oder Kochsalzlösung), die sich in direktem Kontakt
oder in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einer aktiven Elektrode
befinden, können elektrischen Strom oder Wärme
vom Zielgewebe wegleiten, was zu unbeabsichtigten
Verbrennungen beim Patienten führen kann.
e m. VERWENDEN Sie das Instrument NICHT mit hybriden
Trokar-Systemen, also einer Kombination aus Metall
und Plastik, wenn Sie monopolar aktive Komponenten
verwenden. Durch kapazitive Kopplungen kann dies unter
Umständen zu nicht erwünschten Verbrennungen am
OP-Situs führen. Verwenden Sie nur Trokar-Systeme, die
ausschließlich aus Metall oder ausschließlich aus Plastik
bestehen.
e n. Überprüfen Sie vor Erhöhung der Intensität das
Haftvermögen der Neutralelektrode und deren Anschlüsse.
Eine offensichtliche geringe Leistung oder die Unfähigkeit
des Geräts bei normalen Betriebseinstellungen richtig
zu funktionieren, kann ein Hinweis auf die fehlerhafte
Anbringung der Neutralelektrode oder auf fehlerhafte
Kontaktanschlüsse sein.
e p. Beim Verlust des sicheren Kontaktanschluss zwischen
der Neutralelektrode und dem Patienten ertönt nur
dann ein Alarm, wenn eine kompatible Neutralelektrode
verwendet wird.
Vorsicht
e a. Die Intensität sollte auf die niedrigste Stufe eingestellt
werden, die notwendig ist, um den gewünschten Effekt
zu erzielen.
e b. Halten Sie die aktiven Elektroden stets sauber.
Ablagerungen können die Effektivität des Instruments
reduzieren. Aktivieren Sie das Instrument nicht
während der Reinigung. Dies könnte Verletzungen des
OP-Personals zur Folge haben.
e c. Überprüfen Sie bitte, dass die Ausgangsspannung des
Generators die Bemessungsspannung des Zubehörs nicht
überschreitet.
e d. Wählen Sie nur Zubehör mit passender
Betriebsspannung aus.
e e. Lesen Sie bitte das Benutzerhandbuch der
Neutralelektrode für weiterführende Anweisungen.
e f. Bei monopolaren Instrumenten sollte die Neutral-
elektrode mit dem Generator verwendet werden, um
Verbrennungen/Verletzungen des Patienten zu vermeiden.

Warnings and Cautions
The follow warnings are for monopolar
instruments:
e l. ASPIRATE fluid from the area before
activating the instrument. Conductive fluids
(e.g., blood or saline) in direct contact with or
in close proximity to an active electrode may
carry electrical current or heat away from target
tissues, which may cause unintended burns to
the patient.
e m. DO NOT USE with hybrid trocar systems,
i.e., a combination of metal and plastic, when
using monopolar active components. This may
result in alternate site burns due to capacitive
coupling. Use only all-metal or all-plastic trocar
systems.
e n. Prior to increasing the intensity, check the
adherence of the neutral electrode and its
connections. Apparent low output or failure
of the device to function correctly at the
normal operating settings may indicate faulty
application of the neutral electrode or poor
contact in its connections.
e p. The loss of safe contact between the neutral
electrode and the patient will not result in an
alarm unless a compatible monitoring neutral
electrode is used.
Cautions
e a. The intensity should be set as low as is
necessary to achieve the desired effect.
e b. Keep the active electrodes clean. Build-
up of eschar may reduce the instrument's
effectiveness. Do not activate the instrument
while cleaning. Injury to operating room
personnel may result.
e c. Please verify that the generator's output
voltage does not exceed the rated accessory
voltage.
e d. Only select the accessories with the
appropriate voltage ratings.
e e. Please refer to neutral electrode user
manuals for additional instructions.
e f. If the instrument is monopolar, then the
neutral electrode should be used with the
generator to prevent burns/injury to the patient.

Las siguientes indicaciones de advertencia
son válidas para instrumentos monopolares:
e l. ASPIRE el líquido fuera del área antes de activar el
instrumento. Los líquidos conductores (p. ej., sangre o
solución salina) en contacto directo con un electrodo
activo o en las inmediaciones de este, pueden transportar
corriente eléctrica o calor desde los tejidos tratados y,
en consecuencia, provocar quemaduras involuntarias al
paciente.
e m. NO UTILICE el aparato con sistemas híbridos de trocar,
esto es, de material combinado de metal y plástico,
durante la aplicación de componentes monopolares
activos. Ello podría conllevar quemaduras en zonas no
previstas debido a un acoplamiento capacitivo. Utilice
solo sistemas de trocar íntegramente metálicos o
íntegramente plásticos.
e n. Antes de aumentar la intensidad, compruebe la
correcta adhesión del electrodo neutro y sus conexiones.
Si el aparato presenta un rendimiento bajo evidente o un
fallo de funcionamiento con una configuración habitual
de servicio, ello puede deberse a un error de aplicación
del electrodo neutro o a un contacto deficiente de las
conexiones de dicho electrodo.
e p. En caso de perderse el contacto seguro entre el
electrodo neutro y el paciente, únicamente se emitirá
una señal de alarma si se utiliza un electrodo de
monitorización neutro compatible.
Indicaciones de precaución
e a. La intensidad debe ajustarse con el valor más bajo
necesario para el efecto previsto.
e b. Mantenga limpios los electrodos activos. La formación
de escaras puede reducir la efectividad del instrumento.
No active el instrumento durante la limpieza, dado que el
personal quirúrgico podría resultar lesionado.
e c. Compruebe que la tensión de salida del generador no
exceda la tensión nominal de los accesorios.
e d. Seleccione únicamente accesorios cuya tensión
nominal sea adecuada.
e e. Para obtener información adicional, consulte los
manuales de instrucciones del electrodo neutro.
e f. Si el instrumento es monopolar, el electrodo neutro
deberá utilizarse con el generador a fin de evitar que el
paciente sufra quemaduras/lesiones.
