4) Release the two screws (T7) securing the protective shield
(M) and remove it.
5) Pull off the LED strip (P) and remove it.
6) To mount the new LED strip, follow the same steps but in
reverse.
6.6 REPLACING THE BATTERY
See Figures 22 and 23
1. Switch off the on/off switch (17), switch
off the master switch (20), close the
protective screen (21) and check that
the machine is NOT connected to the
battery charger.
1) Turn the machine onto its back.
2) Release the four screws (O) to remove the protective
screen.
3) Disconnect the yellow power connector from the battery.
4) Disconnect the red charging connector from the battery.
5) Disconnect the red charging indicator connector.
6) Remove the three screws (T1) holding the battery in the
machine.
7) Install the new battery by securing it with the three screws
(T1).
8) Connect the three connectors to the battery.
9) Replace the lower housing plate.
6.7 REPLACING THE ELECTRONIC CARD

1. Switch off the on/off switch (17), switch
off the master switch (20), close the
protective screen (21) and check that
the machine is NOT connected to the
battery charger.
1) Turn the machine onto its back.
2) Remove the protective panel from the bottom of the ma-
chine. Loosen the four securing screws to do so.
3) Disconnect the yellow power connector from the battery.
4) Return the machine to its natural position.
5) Remove the handle (19) by releasing the two screws (T8)
on the right-hand side and the two screws on the left-hand
side.
6) Release the four screws (T2) securing the protective shield
on the motor (B) and remove it.
7) Disconnect the four wires from the electronic card, noting
down the position of each one for subsequent reconnection.
8) Remove the four screws (T9) holding the electronic card (K)
in the machine.
9) Install the new electronic card by securing it with the four
screws (T9).
10) Connect the four wires to the electronic card and, finally,
connect the yellow power connector to the battery.
11) Replace the lower housing plate.
6.8 REPLACING THE JACK CONNECTOR

1. Switch off the on/off switch (17), switch
off the master switch (20), close the
protective screen (21) and check that
the machine is NOT connected to the
battery charger.
1) Turn the machine onto its back.
2) Release the four screws (O) to remove the protective
screen.
3) Disconnect the yellow power connector from the battery.
4) Disconnect the red battery charging connector from the
battery (the one connecting the two wires from the jack to
the battery).
5) Remove the jack support-plate. Release the two screws
(T11) to do so.
6) Using a spanner, release the nut (T12) securing the jack
connector to its support-plate.
7) Remove the jack connector (19) and its wiring through the
hole in the support-plate.
8) Install the new jack connector following the same steps
but in reverse order.
6.9 REPLACING THE MASTER SWITCH

1. Switch off the on/off switch (17), switch
off the master switch (20), close the
protective screen (21) and check that
the machine is NOT connected to the
battery charger.
