1.
Switch off the on/off switch (17), switch
off the master switch (20), close the
protective screen (21) and check that
the machine is NOT connected to the
battery charger.
1) Take two tools (e.g. F-1 and P-1) and secure them in their
corresponding tool chucks but upside down. In other words,
with their points inside the chuck.
2) Unscrew and remove the two clamp handles (8) to access
the clamp securing screws.
3) Make sure that the two clamp screws (T1) are loose.
4) Lower the head and use the handle (6) to lock it in a posi-
tion where the ends of the tools are slightly below the clamp.
5) Rest the sides of the cutter (10) and tracer (11) on the side
of the clamp (7).
6) Tighten the two screws (T1) while keeping the clamp in this
position.
6.3 TIGHTENING AND REPLACING THE BELT
See Figure 19
To check the belt (A) tension or to replace the belt, follow the
steps below:
1.
Switch off the on/off switch (17), switch
off the master switch (20), close the
protective screen (21) and check that
the machine is NOT connected to the
battery charger.
1) Remove the handle (19) by releasing the two screws (T8)
on the right-hand side and the two screws on the left-hand
side.
2) Release the four screws (T2) securing the protective shield
on the motor (B) and remove it.
3) Loosen but do not release the four screws (T3) holding the
motor to the plate/base (E).
TIGHTENING: While pushing the motor (F) towards the rear
of the machine, tighten the four screws (T3).
REPLACING: To replace the belt, follow the same steps as for
tightening it but with a new belt.

6.4 MOTOR REPLACEMENT
See Figure 20
Follow the steps below to do
1.
1) Remove the handle (19) by releasing the two screws (T8)
on the right-hand side and the two screws on the left-hand
side.
2) Release the four screws (T2) securing the protective shield
on the motor (B) and remove it.
3) Using a small screwdriver, disconnect the two wires from
the motor (F) leading to the terminal strip.
4) Remove the belt (A).
5) Loosen the set screw (T4) holding the drive wheel (G) to the
axle on the motor (F) and remove it by pulling it upwards.
6) Unscrew the four screws (T3) holding the motor (F) to the
plate/base (E) and remove it at the same time as the spring
underneath.
7) To mount the new motor, follow the same steps but in
reverse.
6.5 REPLACING THE LEDS
See Figure 21
Follow the steps below to do this:
1.
1) Remove the handle (19) by releasing the two screws (T8)
on the right-hand side and the two screws on the left-hand
side.
2) Release the four screws (T2) securing the protective shield
on the motor (B) and remove it.
3) Using a small screwdriver, disconnect the two wires from
the LED strip leading to the terminal strip.
