Mounting the rear-mounted torsion
spring shaft (HL)
Note that the following instructions only
describe the differences to the assembly of
the front-mounted torsion spring shaft (VL
version). If the assembly steps are identical
to the VL version, there is only a reference to
the respective assembly chapter of the VL
version. Follow the assembly instructions for
the VL version on the respective passages.
4.7.1 HL – Preassembling the door frame
Follow the instructions and Fig.
chapter: 4.4.1 - Preassembling the door frame.
Note that Fig.

only refers to the VL variant and
does not apply here.
4.7.2 HL – Mounting the wall anchors
Follow the instructions and illustrations of chapter:
4.4.2 - Mounting the wall anchors.
4.7.3 HL – Mounting the plugs for the door
frame
Follow the instructions and illustrations of chapter:
4.4.3 - Mounting the plugs for the door frame.
In Fig.
e
, page A5., observe the HL version: The
angle frame (1L/1R) is screwed on the garage wall by
means of one screw (S8) and the suitable plug (S9).
4.7.4 HL – Preassembling the horizontal rail
pairs
Follow the instructions and illustrations of chapter:
4.4.4 - Preassembling the horizontal rail pairs.
Observe the following differences with regard to the
VL version:

, page A7. In addition, mount one fastening
profile (100) each to the horizontal rail pair (14L/14R)
by means of the screws (S6) and (S12). In doing so,
note that the screw heads (S6) are mounted towards
the inside to the rail!

pair (14L/14R). Use the screws (S11) for this pur-
pose, too.
4.7.5 HL – Mounting the rail pairs to the frame
Follow the instructions and illustrations of chapter:
4.4.5 - Mounting the horizontal rail pairs to the frame.
4.7.6 HL – Suspending the horizontal rail pairs
Follow the instructions and illustrations of chapter:
4.4.6 - Suspending the horizontal rail pairs.
Observe the following differences with regard to the
VL version:

Using two screws (S6 + S12) each, mount the
rail connector (6) to the HL sole plate (21L/21R) of
both rail pairs (14L/14R).
These assembly, operation and maintenance instructions must be kept for the entire period of use!

be able to align the system afterwards. Then use two
screws each (S6 + S12) to mount the pre-assembled
ceiling suspension to the HL sole plate (21L/21R).
