Insert the other end of the bolt bar  (80) into
the rotating arm (77) and fasten the bolt catch (79) to
the lock section by means of the screws (S10). In do-
ing so, observe the permissible torque of 10 Nm.
4.5.7 Mounting the middle section(s)
Position the middle section(s)  (86) in the door frame
and mount them in the same way as for the lock sec-
tion or bottom section.
4.5.8 Mounting the top section
Position the top section  (87) in the door frame and
secure it against toppling over. Screw the top sec-
tion  (87) to the section below on the external
hinges (48).
Fig.
a
, page A24. For both the left and right side of
the top section (87), prepare a roller block (88L/88R)
with a track roller  (90L/90R) by screwing both to-
gether hand-tight with the screws (S5 + S12).

When installing a NovoPort drive, the
outer ring of the upper track roller  ((90L/90R) or
(105L/105R) for HL) must be disassembled on the
drive side.
Take the track roller into your right hand. Place a
screwdriver between rib and tooth of the track roller.
Turn the track roller to the right to loosen the outer
ring and to pull it off.
Fig.
d
Using the screws  (S13), mount a preas-
sembled roller block (88L/88R) on the left and right of
the top section  (87). In doing so, observe the per-
missible torque of 10 Nm.
Fig.
e
For hand operation or NovoPort drive: Posi-
tion the centres of the track roller in a way that it is
centrally aligned with the inner edge of the tail end.
Observe that the track rollers must be positioned by
approx. 25 mm to the top when operating the system
with a ceiling pull drive.
4.5.9 Mounting the middle hinges
Fig.
a
, page A25. After the assembly of the indi-
vidual door leaf sections  (44;67;86;87), mount the
middle hinges  (48) using the screws  (S13). In doing
so, observe the permissible torque of 10 Nm.
4.5.10 Completing the installation of the door leaf
Fig.

In order to complete the assembly, carefully
insert the safety guard (39) on both sides of the rails.

Check the frame and shutter seals for any de-
formation. Their original shape can be restored with a
hot air gun or similar.

Tensioning the torsion springs
Hazardous tensioned springs!
WARNING
Springs are under high torque and can
release large forces when being ten-
sioned or when being relieved from ten-
sion.
Wear suitable personal protective
equipment when tensioning the
springs or when relieving them from
tension.
Fig.
a
, page A26. For tensioning the torsion spring
shaft  (35L/35R), use both tensioning bars  (92) and
tension the spring  (35L/35R) into the direction of the
arrow. Generally, the spring is to be tensioned from
the bottom to the top. The number of tensioning re-
volutions is specified on the rating plate. Please also
refer to the table in Fig.
sioned with the same number of tensioning revolu-
tions. The number of tensioning revolutions can be
determined at the tensioned spring according to Fig.
c
.
Fig.
c
Once you have reached the respective num-
ber of tensioning revolutions, firmly tighten the spring
clamping head screws (S11).
Fig.
d
Once the spring has been tensioned, check
the garage door for correct function. Also check
whether there is enough tension on the pull cords
when the door is open. Only after the function check,
pull the R-pin  (98L/98R) with mounting lug to unlock
the spring fracture detection function.
NOTICE
Potential triggering of the spring
fracture detection function caused by
loose pull cord!
If the door is closed, at least 2 safety
windings must remain on the cable
drums.
Fig.
e
In case of a spring fracture, the R-
pins (98L/98R) for the spring fracture detection func-
tion must remain on the door. Suspend each of the R-
pins (98L/98R) on the left and right side of the angle
frame (1L/1R).

Mount the retaining clips  (95) for the tension-
ing bars  (92) in the rectangular holes of the angle
frame (1R) and clip in the tensioning bars (92).
These assembly, operation and maintenance instructions must be kept for the entire period of use!
