5.7 Configuring coaxial cable length

Valid only for version with remote amplifier
■
This setting allows to set the proper coaxial cable length between sensor head and probe
■
Configuration
Coaxial cable fixed lengths (1000mm, 2000mm or 3300mm)
■
Log in to expert mode ( Please see „5.1 Expert Mode")
■
Configure coaxial cable length in Menu EXPRT-Config-CbILen (800...3300mm)
■
Note:
The maximum cable length is limited by a probe length. Please see the dependency in the table.

5.8 Enabling menu protection

To protect the sensor against manipulation, it is possible to enable password protection of the

menu / display
If the protection is active, the expert password 000537 has to be entered first.
■
Only after entering the correct password the menu is unlocked
■
Configuration:
Log in to expert mode (Please see „5.1 Expert Mode")
■
The protection is activated through Menu EXPRT Config Lock (en)
■
Note:
The user is logged out again after 5 minutes of inactivity.
■
In the locked state is on the display visible only the measured value (DspVal)
■
■

5.9 Selection the displayed units (Millimeter/Inch)

Millimeters or inches can be used to represent and set all measured values
■
Configuration:
Log in to expert mode (Please see „5.1 Expert Mode")
■
Choose the unit in Menu EXPRT-Config-Unit (mm/inch)
