Installing the bench sensor FII
Figure 5
Install the bench sensor in the sauna cabin about 15
cm below the ceiling and opposite of the heating sys-
tem.
The bench sensor with its overtemperature fuse may
only be connected with the supplied 150° C tempera-
ture-resistant connecting line or an equivalent tempe-
rature-resistant line.
On the outside of the sauna cabin, the temperature-
resistant connecting line can be extended with custo-
mary lines.
WARNING - Electric shock:
Run the power cables separate to other sen-
sor and control lines.
Protect single insulated lines with a pipe
(double insulation).
1. Run line 5 to mounting location of bench sensor
4 in the cabin wall and fix in position with wiring
clips.
2. Separate two half shells 1 of bench sensor 4
and connect two terminals of the 150° tempera-
ture-resistant connection line according to the
circuit diagram.
3. Insert round adapter plate 2 with the connections
crosswise in half shells 1, close half shells 1
and fix with the two 9 mm long Philips head screws
3.
Check for secure fit of bench sensor 4.
4. Conduct tests according to the chapter "Tests".
Fix bench sensor 4 to the cabin wall opposite of
5
the heating system with two wood screws 6
keeping a distance of 15 cm to the ceiling.

Tests

An authorized electrician must carry out the tests.
WARNING - Electric shock:
The following tests are carried out with the
supply voltage switched on.
1. Check the contacts of the ground terminals.
2. Test the safety shutdown with the line to the tem-
perature sensor F I interrupted.
-
The lines have to be disconnected at the sensors
to include the stove sensor lines in the test.
-
The heating system has to shut down on its own
when the white or red stove sensor lines are dis-
connected and in case of a short circuit in the white
line.
3
Test the phase interconnection for sauna opera-
tion L1, L2, L3 to U, V, W.
4. Test for maximum permissible heat output of CV3
sauna control of 3.5 kW per phase.
5. With connected, optional additional power unit:
-
Check control lines St1, St2 and St3,
-
Test for maximum permissible heat output of op-
tional power unit S2-18 of 3 kW per phase.
-
Test for maximum permissible heat output of op-
tional power unit S2-30 of 7 kW per phase.
