Installing the control
Figure 2
Read the installation and operating instructions of the
sauna stove manufacturer prior to installing the sau-
na control.
The sauna control has a connection range for extra-
low voltage 4 and a connection range for 230 V ter-
minals I.
CAUTION - Damage to the unit:
Use the CV 3 sauna control only to control and
regulate 3 heat circuits with a maximum of 3.5 kW
output per heat circuit.
As an option, you can increase the switching ca-
pacity with an additional power unit from 10.5 kW
to 18 kW / 30 kW.
Run the stove sensor lines and bench sensors
lines separate to other power cables in the con-
nection range for extra-low voltage
trol.
Connecting the sensor lines
NOTE - Mark lines:
Mark the white sensor lines to avoid getting them mixed
up as you connect them.
1. Run temperature sensor lines F I with overtempe-
rature fuse through opening 8 (connection range
for extra-low voltage 4) into the base of the hou-
sing 1.
2. Run temperature sensor line F II through opening
8 (connection range for extra-low voltage 4) into
the base of the housing 1.

3. Connect the sensor lines F I and F II according to
the circuit diagram 6 to terminal 3 on the right-
hand side.
Insert supplied screwdriver A into the rectangular
•
recess of terminal strip B slightly push down, and
slightly tilt up:
•
The terminal C underneath opens;
Insert line D, tilt screwdriver down and remove.
•
•
Check lines for secure fit.
Connecting the light cables
4. Run the light cables through opening H (connec-
tion range for 230 V / 400 V I) into the base of
the housing 1 and connect according to circuit
diagram 6 to terminal K (as described under
of the con-
subitems of item 3.).
CAUTION - Damage to the unit
Make sure all terminals/pins are assigned correct-
ly.
Connecting supply and heat system lines
5. Run the supply and heat system lines through
openings E, F (connection range for 230 V /
400V I) into the base of the housing 1 and con-
nect according to circuit diagram 6 to terminal
J with a max. tightening torque of 1.2 Nm.
NOTE - Further line inputs
Open further line inputs 7, G in the base of the
housing and insert the line grommets depending on the
number of options to be connected.
