MONITOR
FO2 - Function Output for Out 2
(switching function for output 2; rotational speed, frequency, speed):
(For function diagrams for the switching functions F02 see from page 29)
FO2 = 1:
Monitoring for not reaching an input frequency (status signal)
The output relay* energises when the input frequency is lower than the preset
value (switch point). The output relay* is de-energised during the start-up delay
and as long as the input frequency is greater than the preset value.
Switching with hysteresis:
If the input frequency becomes greater than the preset value, the relay de-energises
at the switch point + the hysteresis value.
Example:
SP = 1500 RPM; Hy = 5% of SP = 75 RPM
Relay energises when <1500 RPM, de-energises when >1575 RPM (1500+75)
Switching with active latched output function:
When the input frequency is greater than switch point + hysteresis value ("reset
point"), the relay is not reset automatically but must be reset manually (see SOx);
(This also applies to the following switching functions).
A combination of latched output and fleeting function does not make sense.
FO2 = 2
(= factory preset) Monitoring for not reaching an input frequency (fault signal)
The output relay* de-energises when the input frequency is lower than the preset
value (switch point). The output relay* is energised during the start-up delay and
as long as the input frequency is greater than the preset value.
Switching with hysteresis:
If the input frequency becomes greater than the preset value, the relay energises at
the switch point + the hysteresis value.
Example:
SP = 1500 RPM; Hy = 5% of SP = 75 RPM
Relay de-energises when <1500 RPM, energises when >1575 RPM (1500+75)
FO2 = 3:
Monitoring for exceeding an input frequency (status signal)
The output relay* energises when the input frequency is greater than the preset
value (switch point). The output relay* is de-energised during the start-up delay
and when the input frequency is lower than the preset value.
Switching with hysteresis:
If the input frequency becomes lower than the preset value, the relay de-energises
at the switch point - the hysteresis value.
Example:
SP = 1500 RPM; Hy = 5% of SP = 75 RPM
Relay energises when <1500 RPM, de-energises when <1425 RPM (1500-75)
* ("Output relay energised" means "transistor output conductive"; "output relay de-energised" means
"transistor output blocked").
