For speed monitoring the monitor compares the input frequency at input 1 with
the set switch point SP2 (preset value speed in rpm or Hz) and switches output 2
according to the set parameters.
The display shows the current input frequency at channel 1 or the current rotational
direction (0DIR = no direction detected; 1DIR = pulse sequence In 1 before In2; 2DIR
= pulse sequence In2 before In1).
The function of the unit is versatile because of the setting of different parameters
and can thus be adapted to the application.

3-wire DC (PNP or NPN), 2-wire AC/DC, 2-wire quadronorm,
NAMUR pulse pick-ups up to 25 V DC
Pulse pick-ups for the monitor FD-1 N
Only NAMUR pulse pick-ups according to EN 50227 (8.2 V DC)
The monitor FD-1 N provides the additional function wire monitoring (wire faults are
signalled by LED and transistor output).
FD-1 monitors and FD-1 N monitors are not approved for safety tasks
in the field of safety of persons.
