5.1.6. Seat suspension
• You can adjust the seat suspension to your weight for comfortable
driving (fig. 15)
• A special spanner is required in order to adjust the spring travel
(please contact your specialist trade).
• Compression of the spring is equivalent to a low spring travel and a

„harder" setting.
• Releasing the tension of the spring increases the spring travel and
ensures a „softer" setting.
5.1.7. Armrests
The armrests can be completely taken off to be able to get in and out
of the chair from the side. In addition, the height of the armrests can be
adjusted. They can also be adjusted sideways by adjusting the side parts
(see chap. side parts).

Removing the armrests
• To remove the armrest, loosen the wing bolt and pull out the armrest
to the top (fig. 16).
• When installing the armrest, make sure it is inserted all the way and
fastened again.
Adjusting the height
• First remove the arm rest from the bracket.
• Remove the check screw (fig. 17) and screw it into the desired
position of the arm rest.

• The lowest hole corresponds to the max. height setting of the arm
rest.

Ensure that both shock absorbers, right and left, are
adjusted the same.
5.1.8. Side parts
You can slide the side parts sideways.
• Undo the fastening screw underneath the seat and slide the side part
into the desired position (fig. 18).
• Tighten the screw again.
Ensure that the adjustment is restricted to the marked
range!
5.1.9. Control unit
The control unit can be mounted either on the right or left-hand side
underneath the armrest each. The control unit must be adjusted by a
qualified specialist trade to warrant safe functionality of the wheelchair.
Distance from the armrest
• You can adjust the position of the control unit to your forearm length.
• Loosen the hand screw on the outer side of the side part.
• Move the control unit into the desired position, then tighten the screw
again (fig. 19).
Adjusting the height
• The distance to the armrest can be adjusted.
• Loosen the screw connection on the inner side of the side part.
(fig. 20).
• Move the control unit into the desired position, then tighten the screw
again.
Please note that the wires to the control unit must be
re-routed. Have this done by a technician.
