ATTENTION: Before performing any procedure, make sure that the device is not powered.
The operations regarding point 7.5 are without safety devices. The trimmer can only be adjusted with door not moving.
7.1
Set the arm type with J1.
7.2
Set TC, VA, VC trimmers at minimum and RF at mid position.
7.3
Short circuit the safety devices (41-6, 41-8) and the stop (1-9).
7.4
Adjust desired spring closing speed by means of CLOSING SPEED LO-ME-HI jumper and HI-ADJ trimmer.
Adjust approaching speed by means of PROXIMITY LO-HI jumper.
7.5
Switch on and press the RESET button on the head of the automation.
By means of controls 1-3 and 1-4 check that the automation is working properly.
Set the automation's speed by means of the VA and VC trimmer.
Attention: upon each turning on the control panel automatically RESETs so as to permit the first opening and closing to be
made at low speed in order to learn the end-of-travel positions (acquisition phase).
7.6
Adjust thrust on obstacles and motor torque by means of RF trimmer, in order to guarantee proper and safe operation.
7.7
Make an estimate of the present risks and install and connect all the necessary safety devices to the electronic control panel.
Check for their efficiency.
7.8
Check that the fire and smoke sensors are working correctly.
7.9
Adjust automatic closing (enabled by 1-2 control or by COME-H-K function selector) by means of TC.
7.10 Connect any control devices and function selectors. Check for their efficiency.
7.11 If the automation meets an obstacle during closing stroke, it detects it and opens again.
If the obstacle is detected twice, this is considered to be the new stop position until it is removed.
Attention: ensure that the manoeuvering force and the thrust between the door and the obstacle is lower than the values set
out by regulation DIN 18650-1.

EXAMPLE OF APPLICATION
Example of the WELF fire door with electric lock, smoke/fire detector and manual release for closure.
The door opens with the PAS radar command (1-3A e 1-3B).
The automatic mechanism is connected to a sensor that detects the presence of smoke/fire and a manual button for closure to
activate in the case of a fire emergency.
When there is no power or when there is a fire emergency the door is closed by the spring of the WELF automation.
Note: set the dip switches and jumpers as shown in the figure.
