SADDLE ASSEMBLY
1 - Place the saddle bracket on the seat post in the
required position.
2 - Insert the washers and tighten the screws to a
torque of 5Nm.
3 - Insert the lower saddle clamp and saddle.
4 - Slide the upper clamp in from the side.
5 - Insert the two round threaded inserts.
6 - Tighten the screw according to the desired
saddle angle, insert the washer then grease and
tighten the screw to a torque of 8Nm.
IMPORTANT : Please note the minimum
seatpost insertion in the frame, as indicated on
the seatpost.

SEATPOST ASSEMBLY

The frame is supplied with a special internal
seatpost clamp to secure the seatpost in the frame.
Assembly steps :
1 - Degrease the inside of the seat tube and the
contact surface of the internal seatpost clamp.
2 - Degrease the seatpost and insert it into the seat
tube.
3 - Insert the internal seatpost clamp.
4 - Grease the screw (31) and tighten to a torque
of 7Nm.
5 - Press the screw head cover (44) onto the screw
(31).
IMPORTANT : Please note the minimum
seatpost insertion in the frame, as indicated on
the seatpost.
BRAKE ROUTING
NOTE : Your bike is designed for 140/160mm front and rear FLAT MOUNT-standard brake calipers. The
chainstay thickness at the rear caliper attachment point is 25mm.
1 - Connected hose: insert the rear brake hose
through the chainstay, then feed it through the down
tube and headset.
Your 796 Monoblade is fitted with bottle mounts to
install a bottle holder and an aero box.
Remove the three M5 screws on the down tube
if you wish to fit a bottle cage, or remove only the
screw above the crankset if you are fitting an aero
box. When reassembling, grease and tighten the
screws to a torque of 4Nm.
WARNING : Use only the original screws
provided.
2 - Remember to slide a 510mm foam tube onto the
rear brake hose.
