CABLE ROUTING
IMPORTANT : Your 796 Monoblade frame is
designed for use with an electronic groupset and
is compatible with most 12-speed and higher
models on the market. To find out more about
compatibility, please contact your nearest LOOK
retailer.
Di2 CABLE ROUTING:
1 - Lay your frame flat on a clean surface to avoid
damaging it.
2 - Feed the front derailleur e-tube up through the hole in the right-hand side of the seat tube and out the
top (pink e-tube).
Run the rear derailleur e-tube through the hole in the right-hand chainstay (beside the rear derailleur) and
up the seat tube, exiting at the top (yellow e-tube).
Route the last e-tube from the top of the seat tube to the head tube, going over the bottom bracket.
TIP : Use a magnet to help route the e-tubes.
3 - Connect the cables and place the battery in
the seatpost according to the manufacturer's
recommendations, using the adapter provided.
4 - Install the seatpost according to the instructions
(see Seatpost Assembly). If you are unable to
insert the seatpost, the e-tubes may be in the way.
Remove the seatpost and adjust the e-tubes before
trying again.
5 - You will need a workshop stand to continue
assembling the bike. It is important to secure the
frame by the seatpost, tightening to a torque of 7Nm.
The frame must be stripped to allow easy access to
the headset and bottom bracket.
6 - Insert the rear brake hose into the left-hand
chainstay, then over the bottom bracket and up the
down tube. The hose should then exit through the
top of the head tube (green hose).
