2.3 Basic information

2.3.1 Use

Driving unit PJXP200, PJGCVX200 and PJCV224 serves as a source of energy to power gearboxes of the VARI GLOBAL system.
With assemblies consisting of this driving unit, gearboxes DSK-317/S, DSK-317.1/S DSK-316.1PSVN and DSK-316.1PSZ and with attachable
implements of the VARI system you can do all farming operations and communal works. Driving units are made with guiding handles that
have handlebars with a horizontal bar.
Driving unit Model PJXP200 consists of 4-stroke spark ignition engine VARI XP-200A with the flange and guiding handles; driving unit
PJGCVX200 consists of 4-stroke spark ignition engine HONDA GCV200 with the flange and guiding handles; driving unit PJCV224
consists of 4-stroke spark ignition engine KOHLER Command PRO CV224 with the flange and guiding handles. Torque transmission onto
gearboxes is provided by centrifugal clutch which enables a smooth start of the machine.
By manufacturer approved gearboxes and adapters in connection with driving units PJXP200, PJGCVX200 and PJCV224
(manufacturer does not provide guarantee for driving units working with gearboxes and adapters other than authorized) are given in the
following table.

2.3.2 Fuel system protection against bio components


Use only fresh fuel. Add stabilizing additive to the fuel according to the instructions of the additive producer.

It is recommended to use the ASPEN 4 alkaline fuel without bio components.

Follow also recommendations of the engine manufacturers regarding the fuel types to be used.
Time, when the petrol can remain in the engine without causing any functional problems, depends on the fuel composition, storage
temperature and amount of fuel in the petrol tank. Considering the high percentage of bio components in present fuels, perform following
steps every time before you put the engine out of operation:

Don't leave the machine unattended! Have control over the ignition safety switch.
1. Based on the type of the machine: shift into neutral, switch off the wheel drive clutch, switch off the work tool drive.
