4. FLANGED INSTALLATION OPENING

Boiler flange Ø 180 (inner width Ø 117 mm, pitch circle Ø 150 mm, 8 x M12)
The bolts must be tightened crosswise with a torque of 23 Nm to 25 Nm.

5. CENTRAL HEATING CONNECTION

Prior to commissioning, the tube register must be flushed out in order to remove any contaminants (e.g. scale) from the heating
circuit. Upon commissioning the hot water must be prepared in compliance with the national standards and guidelines (e.g.
ÖNORM H5195-1) and must comply with the relevant regulations.
Storage tank with tube register
The straight-tube heat exchangers built into the storage tank can be connected to a hot water heating system if the pressure
and temperature match the data given on the rating plate. Forced circulation by pump is required.
When installing a water heater with tube registers, a shut-off device should be installed in the flow pipe to prevent upstream
heating in the heating circuit when the central heating system and heat pumps are switched off. Under no circumstances,
however, may both flow and back-flow be shut-off, due to the fact that otherwise the water within the tube register could
expand, thus risking damage to the heat exchanger. The smooth pipe heat exchanger must be professionally flushed through
before carrying out the initial installation (in addition we recommend the installation of a dirt filter).

6. IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION

When installing the device due attention must be paid to the dimensional sketches and any information notices included in
the package.
WARNING: The weight of the water heater including the weight of the water content (the nominal capacity) must be taken
into consideration for the selection of an installation point and/or the preparation a device mounting surface that is adequate
to meet the technical loading and installation strength requirements.
The distance to the boiler systems can be found in the manufacturer's documentation and in the relevant regulations.
If a water heater is fitted with covers (casing) in narrow small spaces or in suspended ceilings and the like, it is crucial to
ensure that the connector block of the device (water connections) remain freely accessible and that heat accumulation is not
generated.
In terms of the choice and/or sequence of the installation material used on the system side, due consideration must be given
to potential electro-chemical processes in accordance with good engineering practice (mixed installations!). The potential
equalisation of the pipelines is to take place according to DIN 50927.
This type of corrosion results in the formation of corrosion cells. There is voltage between the anode and cathode area in the
corrosion cells. The proceeding processes are mutually dependent, but can take place at various distances apart from each
other. Corrosion cells may occur due to different potentials, as is the case with contact corrosion. With this, various metals are
in conductive contact with each other via an ion-conducting medium (water).
If there is particularly aggressive water, which demands a special solution on the installation side, the potential necessity for
special constructed versions of the storage tank should be investigated (please direct any related questions to our agents or
directly to our company).
In case of damage any failure to heed this instruction shall be deemed to represent an improper usage and will, therefore,
result in this not being covered by the warranty provisions.
This device is not designed to be operated by people (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental capacities
or who lack the requisite experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety
or have been instructed in the operation of the device by said person. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the device.
The device operator has a duty to ensure there can be no risk of physical injury by scalding with hot water to people not fully
instructed in the use of the appliance.
