Application instructions
Putting on the ManuTrain
As an alternative to the following
description, a donning video is available to
you on the product details page. To access
this, scan the QR code next to Figure 7 and
follow the instructions in the video
• Pull the support over the wrist until the
joint is enclosed by the knit fabric and pad
without any pressure being exerted on it.
• The support fits correctly when the bony
protrusion on the outside of the wrist is
enclosed by the pad's ring-shaped cutout
1 .
• Fasten the narrow side of the strap (light
blue velour) on the light blue Velcro area (if
not already pre-fastened) 2 . For optimum
stabilization, move your wrist towards the
back of your hand.
• Guide the strap to in the direction of your
little finger 3 , then over the palm of your
hand between the thumb and index finger
4 and back to the wrist
5 . Then wrap the strap around the wrist
and fasten it to the wide strap 6 7 .
• Additionally, you can use the markings on
the support to guide you (grey lines).
• For increased stabilization, loosen the
strap and re-tighten it applying more
tension.
Alternative
• For more gentle treatment, separate the
strap halves by separating the Velcro
areas from one another (see Figures
I – III ). Now fasten the Velcro area onto
the identical arrow-shaped area on your
support A B and guide the strap in the
direction of the arrow (towards the outside
of your wrist) around the wrist C . Then
fasten the strap in the desired position D .
• In order to reconnect the strap halves,
place both parts with the Velcro area
facing upwards and outwards (see full
strap figure in the image series
I – III ). Follow the steps in reverse order
from Figure III to I .
Removing the ManuTrain
• Loosen the Velcro fastening and attach the
end of the strap onto the strap's Velcro to
avoid damage to the support. Then loosen
the strap and take off the support.
