Optional Function Setting Procedure
1 Press both "Off Timer" and "Reset" 3 seconds.

The optional function setting will automatically end and reset if
no operation is performed 60 seconds after it is displayed.
The display range of the wireless controller can be set, following
the function to set the indoor unit.

Some settings may not operate even if they are selected and displayed
on the wireless remote control, depending on the indoor unit model.

• The selected items are set when restore setting (factory default).
These settings can be restored when the wireless remote control is
reset.
• (*) Only available for the combination of indoor unit and receiver
kit supporting the "0.5 ºC increment" and "Operation mode AUTO"
functions.
• IMPORTANT: Optional function 7 needs to be set 0 (Non display)
when this function is not available.
• After replacing the battery, selected optional function settings are
retained.

10 TEST RUNNING BY CONTROLLER

C A U T I O N
Test running by the controller can not be performed in case that the wired
remote control switch is used together; in case that multiple units are
operated simultaneously (SET FREE and UTOPIA series). In such cases,
perform the test running by the wired remote control switch.
1 Perform the test run after the installation work is completed.
a. Set the batteries for the controller.
b. Turn ON the power supply for the indoor and outdoor units.
c. " " lamp (yellow) on the receiver of the indoor unit
flashes (0.25 seconds ON
then turns OFF. While the lamp is flashing, the unit will
not operate because it is initializing.
2 Set the test run mode by pressing "LOUVER" and
"ON TIMER" switch simultaneously for more than 3 seconds.
The LCD should be as shown in the figure on the below.
3 Set the operation mode by pressing the "MODE" switch.
4 Operate the test run by pointing the transmitter towards
the receiver of the indoor unit and press the "
