Assume proper operating position:
Take care that no parts of the body

with wide sleeves; contain long hair
with a hairnet).
− Risk of injury by inhaling wood
dust:
Dust of certain timber species (e.g.
oak, beech, ash) can cause cancer
when inhaled. Always use a dust
collector. The dust collector must
meet the following requirements:
− fitting the outer diameter of the
suction port
− air volume ≥ 550 m 3
− vacuum
at suction

− air speed at suction port of
machine ≥ 20 m/s.
− Risk of injury by inadequate per-
sonal protection:
When operating the machine, wear:
− dust respirator;

4. Transportation and
Installation
4.1

Machine Transportation

The machine can be transported by two
means:
− on a pallet by a fork lift or pallet
truck.
− by several persons. To do so the
machine is carried at the lower
frame (1).
Caution!
Do not carry the machine hold-
ing it at the table, it is not designed to
withstand the tensile load by the
machine weight.

Machine installation

1. Floor space required

Mains Connection

Danger! Electrical hazard.
Operate in dry environment
only.
Operate machine only on a power
source matching the
requirements (see also "Technical
Specifications"):
− protected by a residual current
operated device (RCD) of 30 mA
capacity;
− outlets properly earthed;
− 5-wire three-phase outlets with
neutral lead;
− when a dust collector is used it
must also be properly earthed.
Position power supply cable so it
does not interfere with the work and
is not damaged.
Protect power supply cable from heat,
aggressive liquids and sharp edges.
Use only extension cables of suffi-
cient lead cross-section.
Do not pull on power supply cable to
unplug.

5. Operating Elements

To start = press START button (2).

To stop = press STOP button (3).

Operating mode selector
The operating mode selector (4) is actu-
ated by the key supplied. The following
operating modes can be selected:
Surface/thickness planer mode
Circular saw mode
Spindle moulder mode
OFF position
If the key is removed in the OFF posi-
tion, the machine is protected against
unauthorized use.
Emergengy stop switch
In any operating mode the emergency
stop switch (5) shuts the machine down
immediately.
