Connection variant A (fig. g, page 8)
Connection variant for motor homes that are to be
equipped with a house battery and charging
device (standard connection variant).
➤To connect the charging booster proceed as
shown in fig. g, page 8.
Connection variant B (MT LB 50 only)
(fig. h, page 9)
Connection variant for motor homes with an exist-
ing cutoff relay.
A
NOTICE! Damage hazard
The existing cabling and the cutoff relay
can be overloaded during operation.
Limit the maximum current consumption
(see chapter "Limiting the current con-
sumption" on page 27) if the existing
cabling is not sufficiently dimensioned
according to the recommended cable
cross-sections, cable lengths and fuses
(see chapter "Determine the cable cross-
section" on page 23).
➤Install the charging booster between the exist-
ing cutoff relay (3) and the house battery.
➤Disconnect the existing charging cable at a suit-
able point. Connect the two cable ends on one
side of the terminal block each (4).
➤To connect the charging booster proceed as
shown in fig. h, page 9.

Connection variant C (MT LB 50,
MT LB 60) (fig. i, page 10)
Connection variant for motor homes that are to be
equipped with a load relay to enable higher con-
sumption currents than the charging booster
supports.
• The load relay is controlled via the TR terminal.
• If connected consumers draw a high current
from the house battery (e.g. air-conditioning
operation while driving) the load relay remains
closed to enable higher charging currents. After
falling below this current, the charging booster
opens the load relay and takes over the charging
process.
!
CAUTION! Fire hazard
• Adapt the cable cross-sections, cable
• When connecting the load relay
I
NOTE
Use the load relay (3) with installation
cable set (available as accessory).
➤To connect the charging booster proceed as
shown in fig. i, page 10.
