8.2 General Errors and their Corrective Actions
Malfunction
Equipment does
not work
Excessive wear
of the bulb when
operating at
500 W
Graphic operating
elements are not
operable
Unit behaves
unexpectedly but
does not show an
error message.
Possible Cause
– No power.
– Power switch not depressed.
– Power fuses defective.
– Power cord defective.
– Bulb is operated only at
500 W.
– Function has been blocked by
the „Supervisor".
– Automatic ignition, automatic
exposure start or assigned
functions of the digital inputs
have been changed.
Corrective Action
• Check supply voltage.
• Press power switch.
• Check fuse.
• Replace power cord.
• Operate the bulb daily at 1000 W
for about 15 minutes.
