Message Text, Cause and Corrective Actions
Type
Emergency stop actuated
• Clear fault.
• Unlock emergency stop button.
• Quit the error message in the home menu.
The system cools down the bulb until 100% cooled.
• Ignite lamp as described in section 4.5.
• Continue with normal operation.
Lamp house too cold (avoid condensation!)
– Unit temperature too low (≤ +10°C), e. g. if the unit was taken out
of storage and switched on directly.
• Let the unit warm-up to room temperature, then switch on again.
Lamp house overheated
– Unit is too close to heat sources or exposed to direct sunlight.
• First bring the unit to room temperature and then ignite it again.
• Move the unit away from heat sources or out of direct sunlight.
If this error message is displayed again, send the system to Henkel
Technical Service for further inspection and repair.
Lamp heat-up duration exceeded
This error only occurs during the ignition of the bulb, when there are
strong fluctuations in the mains supply. This means that the bulb is
not able to stabilise at its operating voltage.
• Connect the unit to a stable power supply, see section 3.
Lamp voltage present although lamp is switched off
Both shutter position switches active at the same time
Door interlock malfunction
PLC/HMI connection disturbed
PLC I/O Bus malfunction
PLC Outputs overheated or short circuited
006.1 – 006.6: The self-test of the unit showed an error.
• Switch off unit.
• Let the bulb cool down.
• Switch on the unit again.
• Continue with normal operation.
• If this error message is displayed again, send the system to
Henkel Technical Service for further inspection and repair.
UV level measured although shutter is closed
No UV measured - check sensor
– Wire break in the sensor cable or
– sensor lens is covered or dirty.
– sensor curcuit board defective.
• If the wire is broken, replace the sensor cable, see section 8.6.
• Carefully clean the sensor lens with a cotton swab soaked in pure
alcohol.
• Replace the sensor board.
UV Sensor overdriven
– Too much light is scattered back onto the sensor.
• Align workpieces differently or
• select a lower rack position.
