If the "Supervisor" is logged in, the padlock is still displayed as a reminder of this setting,
but the control element remains operable.
Shortly after the system has booted up, this message appears only once:
<0> Modbus Easy-E4: Communication OK. This display is normal and means that the
data connection between the display and the CPU has been established and is working
properly.
The currently active menu item is highlighted.
The lock symbol changes its shape, when the "Supervisor" is
logged in. This serves as a reminder, as all functions are now
available in all menus without restrictions.
Arrows are used to navigate within multi-page menus or to scroll
through lists: back to the previous screen or continue to the next
page. Entry before / page before etc.
Representation of a switch. The switch is also toggled by
tapping, not by a gesture. Each tap switches the switch to the
other position ("toggle" function).
Example of a confirmation dialogue. With "Yes" the action is
finally carried out. With "No" it is cancelled.
Afterwards, the dialogue closes again and the previous screen
becomes visible.
Example of a value entry. In the upper field, the current or
entered value is shown; in the red fields below the permissible
minimum and maximum value, here 0% and 200%. If an attempt
is made to enter a value outside the range, e. g. 250%, the entry
is not accepted and the input value, here 70%, is limited to the
upper range limit of 200%. This value can be accepted or reset.
Only the digits are entered, units are added automatically. When
entering times in the format m:s, the colon is in a fixed position
and the digits advance from right to left. The entry of e.g. 12:30
m:s is made as 1 2 3 0. The entry is completed with "RET"
(Return) or cancelled with "ESC" (Escape).
Representation of a blocked control element. The block is
represented by a small 'locked padlock' symbol. In addition, the
control element is displayed semi-transparent.
Messages from the operating system or the runtime
environment are displayed as banners (green: success, red:
error) across the entire width of the screen. This usually occurs
after a user interaction, e. g. changing the password.
However, they can also be malfunction or error messages that
are not part of the Loctite firmware. The banners are displayed
briefly and then disappear by themselves. In the case of a
permanent malfunction, they reappear every few seconds.
