Error Messages and their Corrective Actions

Notice!
The error numbers mainly correspond to those of the previous version (version with
monochrome display and rotary knob for input). There are some additional numbers, e.
g. for the communication between display and CPU. Furthermore, sum errors have now
been split into more detailed individual errors and displayed with one decimal place for
differentiation, e. g. 3 (temperature error) becomes 3.1 (too cold) and 3.2 (too hot), etc.
When an error occurs, the system automatically switches to the home menu, where the
error is displayed. Since a manual mask change is still possible, e. g. to
change the language, the home symbol changes to a flashing flame-like sign.
This creates attention for the error message that is still pending.
Example of a fault message:
016.1 - Error number (group 16,
prematurely cancellation of the
exposure)
Message text - here abort by the user.
If necessary, several errors can be
displayed, use the arrow keys on the
right to scroll up or down a line.
After eliminating the cause, the error can
be quit.

Colour coding:

RED are critical faults where normal operation is no longer possible. In most cases, the
bulb is switched off immediately and cooled down, e. g. emergency stop, defective door
interlock, shutter does not close. In some cases this is not the case, e. g. if the shutter
does not open, there is no danger because the shutter is closed and safely shields the
UV light.
ORANGE are warnings that may affect the curing result, e. g. cancellation of the
exposure by the user or UV minimum not achieved. As there is no impairment for the
lamp, the bulb is not switched off – this also preserves its service life.
GREEN are additional tips for very simple problems, e. g. the shutter does not open
because perhaps only the compressed air was forgotten to be switched on.
Notice!
When the bulb is switched off, a message is displayed after the end of the cooling phase
indicating that the unit may now be switched off via the mains switch.
