EMERGENCY Shutdown

The Emergency Stop switch must be activated in a case of emergency.
Cases are:
– Human life or health is in danger.
– There is a danger of overheating and burning of the adhesive or
producing too much vapors.
– There is a danger that the work piece or equipment will be damaged.
• Press the emergency stop button:
– The bulb is powered off immediately.
– The solenoid valve for the shutter is released, the shutter closes.
– The door interlock is released.
Notice!
The +24 V control voltage and the Fan are not turned off!

Returning to Operation after an Emergency Stop

The unit does not automatically restart after an emergency stop.
The following steps must be done:
DANGER!
Before releasing the emergency stop button, be sure that there is no longer an
emergency condition.
• Clear fault.
• Unlock emergency stop button.
• Quit the error message in the home menu.
The system cools down the bulb until 100 % cooled.
After this, the normal operating menu is displayed again.
• Ignite lamp as described in section 4.5 Start-up, or
• Press power switch to switch the unit off.

Startup with Bulb in Cold Condition

Startup with Bulb at Operating Temperature

• Display indicates fault 010.0 Lamp does not ignite
• Reset fault.
• Allow bulb to cool down (approx. 5 minutes), then re-ignite.
