Start-up

• Switch on the unit with the mains
switch.
In this example, the chamber version
97055 is shown.
First, the operating system boots up,
then the runtime environment.
After this, the start screen is shown for a
few seconds with the basic data of the
used UVALOC:
− Specification of the type (chamber or
tunnel version)
− Operating hours of the controller
− Operating hours of the bulb and
− Number of successful ignitions
− Firmware versions for HMI and PLC
This screen can later be accessed from
the home menu via the ? .
• Touch the home symbol, then the
stylised bulb symbol.
The system will now attempt ignition up
to three times. If the ignition fails, e. g.
because the bulb is worn or still too
warm from previous use, an error
message is displayed.
The three ignition attempts can be
cancelled prematurely by touching the
bulb symbol again (switching off).
When the ignition is successful, then the
warm-up phase begins. It takes approx.
1-3 minutes for the bulb to reach full
power. During this time, no curing cycle
can be started.
