4 Installation
In order to obtain a reliable exposure time, the following program flow is recommended
for the higher-ranking PLC:
– Raise the start signal for about 250 ms.
– Release the start signal.
– Wait for the contact "Shutter open" is opened again before initiating the next exposure.
The maximum exposure time for the chamber version is 900 s (15 min.). This limit was
set for safety reasons, in order to avoid damage to the unit or the work piece by
excessively long exposure times.
If the exposure menu is displayed (large camera symbol) during the exposure,
the exposure cycle can be cancelled by pressing the dial button. This is like a
"Soft" emergency stop without turning the lamp off.

Adjustment

• By touching the camera symbol in the
side menu, the menu page Exposure
is shown.
• Pressing the rotary knob symbol
switches between the exposure modes
Time and CONT.
Notice!
The switch symbol is operated by
tapping, not by a gesture.
In exposure mode "Time":
• By pressing the button with the clock
symbol, the input dialogue for the
exposure duration appears.
• Press the digits to enter the time in
minutes:seconds format. The digits
advance from right to left.
• The colon is in a fixed position, e.g.
12:30 m:s is entered by 1 2 3 0.
The shortest exposure time is 3 s. The longest possible time is 900 s (15 min.) in time-
controlled mode. If the entered value falls below or exceeds the limits, the entry is not
accepted but set to the limit value. This can be accepted or entered again.
• To save, press "RET" (Return) or cancel the entry with "ESC" (Escape).
The input dialogue is closed and the set time appears as text on the key with the clock
symbol.
In exposure mode "CONT":
• Activate the exposure mode CONT by
pressing the rotary knob symbol.
Changing the exposure time is no longer
possible.
