Environmental and Operating Conditions

– The equipment should be installed in a dry, well ventilated and dust-free place.
– To ensure proper ventilation, install the unit at a distance of at least 100-150 mm from
a wall or neighbouring object.
– Remove any remaining packaging material and clean UVALOC 1000 with an
ammonium chloride free cleaner. Allow time for complete evaporation.

Connecting the Unit

Make sure to provide a stable power supply of nominal 230 V AC 50/60 Hz, the minimum
requirement is 212 V AC, 50/60 Hz.
• Connect power cord to the power supply.
• Connect 6 mm pneumatic hose to compressed air supply (4-6 bar).
• Connect foot switch to Interface XS1 on the rear panel of the unit.
• Connect data cable (15 pin Sub D) to XS3 on the lamp housing and to the cure
chamber.
• Connect power supply line to XS4 on the lamp housing and to the cure chamber.
4.4

Installation of the Bulb

• Unlock and open the drawer.
CAUTION!
Do not touch the glass bulb of the UV lamp. Because of burned-in fingerprints the lifetime
of the bulb will be reduced considerably. Fingerprints can be removed with a lint free
wipe and pure alcohol.
• Open reflector flap.
• Insert new bulb
• Close reflector flap.
• Close drawer and lock in place.
