Replacing the second
carriage
Switch off the power supply
before dismantling any equipment!
For Precision Modules mounted
vertically or on a slant, take precautions
to prevent the carriages from dropping!
• Pull the second carriage out of the
frame.
• Move the remaining carriage near to
the open side.
• Slide the new second carriage onto the
ball screw and into the frame.

vertically or on a slant, take precautions
to prevent the carriages from dropping!
F This section describes the removal of
fixed bearings from end blocks without (1)
and with (2) integrated motor mount.
• Remove the motor. ! 6.3 or 6.5
F The ring nut (3) is secured with
Loctite 638 adhesive.
• Use a hot air blower to heat the ring
nut only until the adhesive becomes
liquid.
• Use a face wrench to remove the ring
nut.

Remplacement du
deuxième plateau
Couper l'alimentation électrique
avant le démontage !
Prévenir la chute des plateaux sur
les modules de précision à montage ver-
tical ou oblique !
• Retirer le deuxième plateau du corps
principal.
• Rapprocher le plateau restant vers le
côté ouvert.
• Insérer le nouveau deuxième plateau
sur la vis à billes et dans le corps prin-
cipal.
9.10 Démontage du palier fixe
Couper l'alimentation électrique
avant le démontage !
Prévenir la chute des plateaux sur
les modules de précision à montage ver-
tical ou oblique !
F Le présent chapitre décrit le démon-
tage des paliers fixes des traverses sans (1)
et avec (2) lanterne intégrée.
• Démonter le moteur. ! 6.3 ou 6.5
F La bague filetée (3) est immobilisée
à la Loctite 638.
• Réchauffer la bague filetée à l'air chaud
jusqu'à ce que la colle se ramollisse.
• Desserrer la bague filetée à l'aide d'une
clé à ergots.

Sostituire la seconda
tavola
Prima di procedere allo smontag-
gio staccare la corrente!
In caso di modulo di precisione
montato in linea verticale o obliqua
evitare la caduta delle tavole!
• Togliere la seconda tavola dal profilato
di base.
• Spostare la tavola rimanente avvicinan-
dola al lato aperto.
• Infilare la seconda tavola nuova nella
vite a sfere e nel profilato di base.
9.10 Smontare il cuscinetto di
vincolo assiale
Prima di procedere allo smontag-
gio staccare la corrente!
In caso di modulo di precisione
montato in linea verticale o obliqua
evitare la caduta delle tavole!
F In questo capitolo viene descritto lo
smontaggio di cuscinetti di vincolo assiale
da testate senza (1) e con (2) flangia inte-
grata.
• Smontare il motore. ! 6.3 o 6.5
F L'anello filettato (3) è incollato con
Loctite 638.
• Scaldare l'anello filettato con una pi-
stola ad aria calda fino a che la colla
si liquefarà.
• Allentare l'anello filettato con una
chiave a becchi.
