1. Pre-installation
The installation location selected has to meet the following conditions and be approved by the users.
• The strength of the spot should be sufficient to withstand the weight of the connection kit. There should be
no significant tilt on the plane.
• Ensure that there is enough space for installation and maintenance.
• There should be space for inspection on the side and top of the electric box
• The length of the pipes between the indoor and outdoor units has to be within the permissible range (refer
to the specifications attached to the outdoor unit instruction manual).
• Please install the connection kit in places where noise will not be a concern for the users (such as
washroom, passageway, warehouse, equipment room etc.). Places with high decibels of noise are not
recommended spots for installation; we are referring to spots such as the bedroom, drawing room, meeting
room, office etc.
Note:
• The electrical box can be changed as shown in item 3 connection kit installation.
• Noise may be emitted by the connection kit as a result of control during operation or powering off of an
indoor unit.
Do note :
• Inspect whether the installation location can sufficiently withstand the weight of the connection kit and set
the hoisting bolts by reinforcing the beam if necessary. Use hoisting bolts for installation (refer to 2 for the
preparation steps before installation).
• Install the power wiring and power line of the connection kit more than 1 m away from a TV and a radio, so
as to prevent image clutter and noise. However, there may be noise even if it is more than 1 m apart, basis
the variations in the radio waves.
