3 Fill the water tank with fresh water deficient in lime, place it back into the water tank guides and
replace the cup warming tray.
4 Plug your machine into an outlet. Switch your machine on by placing the metal switch into the upward
position. Now the boiler is being heated and the green signal lamp lights up. The pump is activated
and fills the boiler with fresh water.
5 Since much water is used for the initial filling of the boilers, the water tank has to then be refilled with
water.
6 As soon as the steam boiler is filled with water, the pump will become silent and the PID-display
(below the drip tray) will show the current temperature of the boiler (reg. item 3.3). When the fresh
water in the water tank drops to a certain level, the machine turns off the orange signal lamp and the
PID-display goes off. You now have to refill fresh water. The machine automatically heats up again.
7 Please wait until the boiler pressure gauge indicates a value of about 1.0 bar (0,1 MPa)

5.2 Machine in use with direct water connection

1 Plug the machine into an electrical outlet. Turn the machine on by placing the metal switch into the
upper position. The coffee boiler is now being heated and the green control lamp will come on. In order

Before preparing the first coffee, please rinse the machine by extracting about 2-3

When using a shut-off valve, please be sure to close the valve after having finished
operations. Make sure that the machine is placed in a watertight area.
Portafilter, cup warming tray and drip tray are not suitable for the dish washer.

USE OF THE MACHINE

6.1 Preparation of the machine

The switched off machine is to be placed into operation as follows:
