If only the motor is to be
dismantled, begin with step 4.
1. Loosen the hexagonal screws
on the fl ange.
2. Remove the gear motor from
the hexagonal shaft.
3. Remove the cover plugs from
the faulty gear and fi t onto the
new gear.
4. Loosen the hexagonal screws
on the gear fl ange.
5. Disconnect the faulty gear from
the motor.
6. Remove the yellow protective
cap (X) from the shaft on the
new motor.
Grease the motor shaft.
Please note:
• The plane surfaces on the motor
and gear must be undamaged.
• The hub of the gear has already
been greased with 'Anti-Seize' at
the factory.
• Do not tilt the motor, make sure
there is enough clearance for
assembling the motor.
• Position the motor correctly
(terminal box!) and mount the
motor in the gear.
• If the motor is not properly
positioned: do NOT turn it.
Disconnect the motor from the
gear and assemble it again.
7. Assemble the motor.
Assemble the motor/gear
combination in the reverse order.

WS 24
• Hex socket wrenches WS 3, WS 4, WS 5, WS 6
9.4.2 Replacing the motor and/or gear, exterior motor
mounting
The CD MTparts 3 842 529 770 contains video tutorials about changing
motor, gears, and toothed belts, which can be found under "Maintenance
Video for TS 2plus".
