Function
The petrol engine pump draws the conveyed me-
dium in through the pump inlet (02/6, 03/6) and
feeds it to the pump outlet (02/5, 03/5).
3 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
DANGER! Danger of fatal injury. Risk of
suffocation due to toxic carbon monoxide

Only start and operate the engine in the open
air.
■
Operation in closed rooms is prohibited, even
if doors and windows are left open.
WARNING! Risk of injury. Defective and
disabled safety and protective devices can result
in serious injury.

Have any defective safety and protective de-
vices repaired.
■
Never disable safety and protective devices.
WARNING! Danger of explosion and fire.
Escaping fuel creates an explosive petrol/air mix-
ture. Deflagration, explosion and fire can lead to
serious and even fatal injuries if fuel is not han-
dled properly.
■
Never store the engine in front of naked
flames or heat sources.
■
Never operate the engine in a flammable en-
vironment.
■
Observe the safety and warning notices in
this documentation and on the product.

Do not use the machine for other than its in-
tended purposes.
■
Only use the machine if it is in perfect techni-
cal condition!
■
Keep the area around the engine, exhaust,
and fuel tank free from petrol and oil.
■
Wear hearing protection.
■
Do not operate the engine if you are under
the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
■
Children, or other people who are not familiar
with the instructions for use, are not allowed
to use the equipment.
■
Comply with local regulations on the mini-
mum age of people operating the equipment.
■
Comply with working time regulations in force
in your country.
■
The engine may only be used by persons
who have familiarised themselves with the in-
structions.
■
Never use the engine when persons, in par-
ticular children, or animals are in the vicinity.
■
Note that the user is responsible for acci-
dents and damage that may befall other per-
sons or their property.
■
Do not use starter sprays or similar.
■
When carrying the pump, ensure that the
pressure line connection points towards the
body.
■
Do not smoke when refuelling.
■
Always close the tank lid firmly.
■
Switch off the engine and allow it to cool
down before removing the tank cap.
■
Do not start the engine if petrol has over-
flowed. Clean the appliance and do not try to
start again until the petrol vapours have dissi-
pated.
■
Renew the tank or tank cap if damaged.
■
If you need to empty the fuel tank, do this
outdoors with the engine cold.
■
Store the machine in a dry place protected
against frost.
