A REPAIRS TO THE CUTTER BAR
A.1 Cutter bar assembly/disassembly
The figures placed between brackets correspond with the numerals in figure A-1.
The cutter bar is built up of independent units (1). These mower elements are kept apart by intermediate spacers (2). The
units and spacers are kept together by a connecting rod (3).
The cutting units are driven from the drive element (4) by a drive shaft (5).
Thanks to the modular design, mower elements can be replaced quickly, as can the drive shaft. If so required, the sequnce
of elements with LH and RH rotation can be changed in the SPLENDIMO mower with "S" type mower discs.

Install supports underneath the cutter bar if it is lifted from the ground, and you intend to carry out work to the
machine.
Dismount the cutter bar as follows:
- Fit the machine to the front hydraulics of the tractor.
- Place the machine on a level floor.
- Remove the securing plate (6).
- Unscrew the nut (7) by a few turns.
- Untighten the five bolts (14) at the bottom of the support and remove them.
- Lift the cutter bar a few cms from the ground. Block the hydraulics keeping the cutter bar from going down.
- Remove the nut (7) and the ring (8).
- Remove the end plate (9).
- Slide the mower elements and intermediate spacers from the connecting rod (3).
