4 MACHINE ADJUSTMENTS

Put the machine into the working position as follows:
- Open the valve on the ram (fig. 6).
- Adjust the hydraulic front lift so that the bottom side of the
headstock is approx. 80 cm above ground level (fig. 7). Take
tractor wheelings into account.
Limit the downward movement with, for example, the help of the
stabilisation chains if it is impossible to maintain the adjusted
height of the tractor hitch.
- Lower the machine by means of the hydraulic ram.
- Fit the two safety shields to the sides of the machine.
- Fold down the safety covers on either side (fig. 8).
The machine is now ready for operating.

Mowing height

4.1
The SPLENDIMO 320 FC mower has 2 positions to ensure a
"rough" pre-adjustment of the mowing height. Fixation of the
parallelogram arm (A, fig. 7) to the three point hitch in the lower
hole ensures a higher mowing height. If the arm is fixed in the top
hole, the forward inclination of the three point hitch is less so that
more room is left for turning on headlands.
- Adjust the correct mowing height by adjusting the forward
inclination of the cutter bar with the aid of the top link (fig. 9).
