GENERAL INFORMATION

This equipment is destined for use by professionals. The
user should read this instruction manual and any other
additional information supplied by Varian before operating
the equipment. Varian will not be held responsible for any
events occurring due to non-compliance, even partial,
with these instructions, improper use by untrained
persons, non-authorised interference with the equipment
or any action contrary to that provided for by specific
national standards. The following paragraphs contain all
the information necessary to guarantee the safety of the
operator when using the equipment. Detailed information
about the installed equipment are available into the
supplied relevant technical manuals.
This manual uses the following standard protocol:

DESCRIPTION
The Turbo Stack is a pumping group and is composed
of the following units:
− a Turbo pump with relevant accessories;
− a backing pump;
− the Turbo pump controller;
− a Multigauge unit (optional).
The Turbo Stack is factory assembled with the required
pumps and accessories. The base models are the following:
− Model 969-8200: Turbo Stack with Turbo-V70 pump
with CFF 4.5" input flange;
− Model 969-8201: Turbo Stack with Turbo-V70 pump
with ISO 63 input flange;
− Model 969-8202: Turbo Stack with Turbo-V70D
pump with CFF 4.5" input flange;
− Model 969-8203: Turbo Stack with Turbo-V70D
pump with ISO 63 input flange;
− Model 969-8204: Turbo Stack with Turbo-V70LP
pump with CFF 4.5" input flange;
− Model 969-8205: Turbo Stack with Turbo-V70LP
pump with ISO 63 input flange;
− Model 969-8206: Turbo Stack with Turbo-V250
pump with CFF 6" input flange;
− Model 969-8207: Turbo Stack with Turbo-V250
pump with ISO 100 input flange;
− Model 969-8208: Turbo Stack with Turbo-V300HT
pump with CFF 6" input flange;
CAUTION
− Model 969-8209: Turbo Stack with Turbo-V300HT
pump with ISO 100 input flange;
− Model 969-8210: Turbo Stack with Turbo-V150HT
pump with CFF 6" input flange;
− Model 969-8211: Turbo Stack with Turbo-V150HT
pump with ISO 100 input flange.
The following figure shows a Turbo Stack overall view
with indication of the units position (dimensions
expressed as mm [inches]).
The following table, with reference to the above
mentioned figure, lists the Turbo Stack base models
items.
