6.2 757L35 battery charger and 757B35=* rechargeable battery
6.2.1 Connect battery charger to the product
INFORMATION
The product cannot be used as long as the charging plug is connected to the charging recept
acle. The product is deactivated for the duration of charging.
6.2.2 Safety Shutoff
The purpose of the prosthesis safety shutoff is to protect the battery; it is triggered in case of:

Excessively high or low temperature
•
Overvoltage or undervoltage
•
Short circuit
After a short circuit, the charging plug must be plugged into the charging receptacle and then
unplugged in order for the electronics to be activated.
6.2.3 Display of the current charge level
The battery charge level can be queried at any time.
1) With the prosthesis switched on, press the charging receptacle button and hold for less than
one second.
2) The LED display on the charging receptacle provides information on the current battery
charge level.

1) Connect the charging plug to the charging receptacle on the pros
thetic socket.
→ A correct connection between the battery charger and the pros
thesis is indicated by feedback (see Page 32).
2) The charging process starts.
→ The prosthesis is switched off automatically.
3) Disconnect the prosthesis when the charging process is complete.
