12.1 Releasing the screw on
the support dish
This step will be necessary to facilitate re-
moving the bottom part 23 from the support
dish 22 if you have (see "Preparations be-
fore barbecuing" on page 15) mounted the
additional screw 3.

1. To avoid spilling the liquid in the grease
collector 21, hold the support dish 22
level. Get help from a second person if
necessary.
2. Release the screw 3.
12.2 Removing grease and
food residues
• First remove grease and food residues
using paper towels.
• If there is stubborn encrusted food on
the coated barbecue plate 13 or the
lower heat reflector plate 12, soften it
for approx. 20 - 30 minutes in warm
water with a little mild detergent.

12.3 Dishwasher

The following accessories can be cleaned in
the dishwasher:
- the grill 14
- the lower heat reflector plate 12
- the coated barbecue plate 13
NOTE: the accessories can also be washed
by hand with mild detergent.

12.4 Rinsing by hand

The following accessories can be washed
by hand with mild detergent:
- the grease collector 21
- the smoker box 36
- the lid 24 without the thermome-
ter 32
- the bottom part 23
- the heating element 15
• Carefully dry all accessories after clean-
ing.
12.5 Wiping down with a
damp cloth
The following accessories can be wiped
down with a damp cloth:
- the thermostat 16
- the frame (freestanding barbecue)
- the support dish 22 with the lid hold-
er 37
- the thermometer 32
Proceed as follows:
1. Clean the accessory with a damp cloth.
You can also use a little detergent.
2. Wipe with clear water.
3. Do not use the device until it is com-
pletely dry again.
