Switching on the device

The raclette grill is switched on by turning the thermostat (3) clockwise from "0" to "MAX" until the
thermostat indicator light (5) lights up red. The device now heats up until the operating temperature
is reached. The thermostat indicator light (5) then goes out. When the thermostat (3) is at "MAX",
the heating goes into continuous operating mode and the thermostat indicator light (5) lights up
continually.

Regulating the temperature

The ideal temperature of the grill depends on the food that you want to cook.

If the cooking seems to be taking too long and you think that the temperature is too low, turn
the thermostat (3) further clockwise towards "MAX".

The raclette grill tries to keep the set temperature relatively constant. For this reason, the
thermostat (3) repeatedly switches the heating on and off and thus also the thermostat indicator
light (5).

If the temperature seems too high, turn the thermostat (3) slightly anti-clockwise towards "0".

Switching off the device

Turn the thermostat (3) anti-clockwise to "0" if you want to switch off the raclette grill. Always
remove the mains plug from the socket after use to disconnect the raclette grill from the power
supply.

Cooking raclette


Fill the previously lightly oiled raclette pans (8) with the chosen ingredients. Ensure that you do
not fill the raclette pans (8) too much, otherwise the ingredients could come too close to the
heating element and burn.

Place the filled raclette pans (8) into the recesses provided in the stainless steel bottom of the
grill base (7).

Once the ingredients are cooked, remove the raclette pans (8) from the grill base (7).

Use a wooden spatula (9) to now slide the cooked contents from the raclette pans (8) on to a
plate. Enjoy your meal!
The raclette pans (8) have a non-stick coating and do not have to be oiled again before
cooking more portions.
For easier recognition, each raclette pan (8) has a coloured dot on its handle. This ensures
that you can easily recognise your own raclette pan (8).
