2. Transport and storage

2.1 Delivery

It should be checked that the delivery corresponds
with the material listed on the advice note.
The submersible pump is supplied
on a Euro-pallet or disposable pallet
with packing designed for this purpose.
When transporting, attention must be
paid to the capacity of the hoist used
(lifting truck, crane) and the stability.
The transport dimensions and weights
are specified in the «Technical data».
The general accident prevention
regulations must be observed!
The pump must be handled with care.
Warning
It must never be subjected to excessive
bending stress while being moved.
The electrical cable must never be
used or bent to move the pump.
The free cable ends must on no account
be immersed or made wet in any way.

2.2 Storage regulations

The system must be protected against

moisture and frost.
The submersible pumps must not be
subjected to temperatures outside the
permitted range from –15 °C to +50 °C
during transport or storage.
The pump must be cleaned carefully
Warning
for safe storage following installation/
commissioning.
The hydraulic section must be dried
internally by blowing in compressed air.

2.3 Disposal of packing

For the benefit of the environment...
It will certainly be understood that
transport packing is essential.
Please help protect the environment
and dispose of the materials used
or utilize them further in accordance
with the relevant regulations.

Submersible pumps are suitable for water with a solid
matter concentration of maximum 50 g/m
They are designed for the transport of drinking,
mineral, service and thermal water from filter wells,
shafts, tanks, lakes, dams and rivers.
