7.4.1 Instaluling the cylinder in the system

Let the cylinder acclimatize for several hours before
installation to prevent water from condensing in the housing.
Plan the installation of the cylinder in your system component
so that the following connections and operating devices are
always accessible:
– pneumatic connections
– throttle screws for cushioning (if present)
– throttle screws on the valve (if present)
– manual override (if present)
Proceed as follows:
1. Check that the cylinder matches your order using the material
number printed on the housing.
2. Make sure that all relevant system parts are not under voltage
or pressure before installing the cylinder. Protect the system
against being switched on.
3. Ensure that the surfaces of the cylinder are clean. Clean any
dirty surfaces before installing the cylinder.

Depending on your configuration, you can mount the product

The delivery contents only include the mountings you selected

5. Attach the cylinder to your system with suitable cylinder
mountings. Observe the maximum permissible tightening
torque values.
