Danger of explosion due to open or damaged housings of the cylinder!
The housing has an important protective function. If the housing is not completely assembled
or if it is damaged, the cylinder cannot be commissioned safely. Sparks can escape and
cause explosions.
Only commission the cylinder when the housing is completely assembled and
undamaged.
Danger of injury due to sudden escaping of compressed air!
Suddenly escaping compressed air can cause uncontrolled movement of the piston rod and/
or the useful load and presents a potential source of injury.
Never reach into the travel ranges of moving system components when the system is in
operation.
Make sure, e.g. by using a protective grid, that travel ranges are only accessible when
the system is at a standstill.
Slowly pressurize the system to the stipulated working pressure.

7.4.5 Fastening the useful load

Fasten the useful load to the piston rod of the cylinder. Observe
the permissible piston forces (see Table 9 "Theoretical piston
forces for cylinders with a simple piston rod at 6.3 bar" on
page 76).
Different mounting options are available in the configurator or
the online catalog.
