Instructions for Use

2. Ensure that the OR table is locked prior to mounting the
Shoulder Suspension System.
3. Do not use if product shows visible damage.
4. Ensure device is securely attached and locked to OR Table
accessory rail before transferring patient.
5. Different OR tables may have different table rail dimensions
depending on country of manufacture/use. Ensure that the
correct Table Clamps designed for use with the specific OR
table rail are used.
6. Pinch points and crushing points are indicated on the device
via labeling shown in the following section.

F. Equipment Setup
Note: Ensure that the surgical table is in its final operation
location with respect to the room.
Note: Remove X-ray tops if present from the surgical table.
Note: Ensure that the longest part of the surgical table base
is located under the Suspension System attachment
location for greatest table stability.
Note: Ensure that the OR table wheel locks are activated
before placing the patient on the system.
Clamps (AR-1650-07, AR-1650-08, AR-1650-09, AR-1650-10,
or AR-1650-11)
Select the appropriate Clamp (refer to Item G) based on the OR table
and table rail dimensions that the system will be mounted to. Each rail
clamp is designed for specific rail dimensions. Use the following
diagram and table to determine the correct clamp that should be used
with your table and rail type.
