6. Move the KAFFEE AN/AUS (COFFEE ON/OFF) switch to the "AN" (ON) position. The
control lamp on the left next to the KAFFEE AN/AUS (COFFEE ON/OFF) switch starts
to light up as soon as the device has been switched on.
7. Move the KAFFEE AN/AUS (COFFEE ON/OFF) switch to the "AUS" (OFF) position as
soon as the quantity of water equivalent to one cup of coffee has run through the device.
8. Allow the water/descaling agent mixture to take effect for approx. 15 minutes.
9. Repeat steps 7 to 10 approx. 3 to 5 times.
10. The last time you do this, you should let the device run until the water/descaling agent
mixture has been used up.
11. Then allow approx. three full reservoirs of water to run through the device in order to
flush the lines.
12. Switch off the device by moving the KAFFEE AN/AUS (COFFEE ON/OFF) switch to the
"AUS" (OFF) position.
