5. Plug the bus coupler (e.g. BDC) via the multipole socket into
the VS multipole plug and secure it with two M5 screws (46).
Tightening torque: 3 Nm
Refer to the respective bus coupler instructions for how to
connect the VS CD01-PI on the fieldbus.

Commissioning

Commissioning may only be carried out by qualified electrical or
pneumatic personnel or an instructed person under the
direction and supervision of qualified personnel (see section
2.3 "Personnel qualifications" on page 57).
Danger of burns caused by hot coils!
Touching the valve coils during operating may lead to burns.
Do not touch the device during operation.
Missing seals and plugs will lead to non-compliance with
the IP65 and NEMA protection classes!
Liquids and foreign objects could penetrate and destroy the
device.
Make sure that the seals are integrated in the plug and
not damaged.
Make sure that all plugs are mounted before starting the
system.
