Blanking plate

Use the blanking plate to seal unused valve positions on the
base plate. Protective cap R412005856 must be ordered
separately and mounted to seal the electrical valve connection
(see fig. 4, 28).

Bus coupler

The fieldbus is linked to the left end plate via a bus coupler
(see also section 6.5.3 "Connecting the bus coupler" on page 78).
The following link structures are supported:
AES: fieldbus link with I/O function
BDC: direct fieldbus connection
CMS: fieldbus link with I/O function
DDL: fieldbus link with diagnosis
Depending on the selected link structure the VS can be used for
all available bus protocols.
Refer to the respective instructions for the bus coupler
functions.
