Assembly
1. Screw form-tap screws (41) as far they will go into the holes
on both end plates. Please observe the pictograms (45) on
the bottom of the end plates.
2. Secure the DIN rail (44) under the heads of the two form-tap
screws (41).
3. Insert the two long screws (42) into the holes on the two end
plates from the top of the VS.
4. Screw the T-shaped nuts (43) onto the two long screws.
Tightening torque: 1.0 ... 1.1 Nm
Max. screwdriver speed: 1100/min
5. Check that the VS is firmly seated.

Connecting the pneumatics

6.4.1

General instructions

Please ensure that the connection for the prepared pilot
exhaust air 12 is not sealed on the end plates.
Fit exhaust air connections that are not connected to an
exhaust air line with a silencer.
Only use the plug accessories listed in the online catalog for
the push-in fittings.
6.4.2

Connecting the supply lines

Remove the connections fig. 2 on page 63 and fig. 3 on
page 64.
In case of high air consumption or several pressure zones:
Connect the compressed air and exhaust lines in parallel on
both end plates or use additional supply/exhaust modules.
