802.1Q VLAN
Tagged-based VLAN is a IEEE 802.1Q norm that allows setting up a VLAN between
devices of different manufacturers. IEEE 802.1Q VLAN uses a technique to insert a tag into
an Ethernet data frame. The tag contains a VLAN identifier (VID) that indictaes the VLAN
numbers.
All ports of the switch belong to a standard VLAN, the default VID is 1. The standard VLAN
cannot be deleted. 64 VLAN groups are possible.
