Dual Homing Application

The dual homing function prevents a connection loss between the ring group and
the upper switches by connecting two switches per ring group to the upper switches.
Each of the two switches has one connection upper level.
Please assign two ports as dual homing ports which serve as backup ports within
the ring group. Dual homing does only work when the ring function is active. Each
ring group only has one dual homing port.
[Note] In dual homing applications, the upper switches have to activate the
rapid spanning tree protocol.
