Cabling - Eks e-light 2M Bedienungsanleitung

Please refer to the scheme below when cabling two fiber optic ports. False
cabling may lead to the port not working properly.

Please use twisted-pair cables of the category 5 or higher to connect the
RJ45 port. The electric cable between the switch and the link partner (switch,
hub, workstation etc.) must not be longer than 100 metres.

50/125µm or 62,5/125µm multimode cables must be used for a multimode
fiber optic segment. Thus, two switches can be connected across a distance
of 2km.

9/125µm singlemode cables must be used for a singlemode fiber optic
segment. Thus, two switches can be connected across a distances of up to
30km.
